What is Amoxicillin?

Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum and semi synthetic penicillin antibacterial drug. Its antibacterial mechanism is to interfere with the synthesis of mucin in the cell wall of sensitive bacteria, inhibit the metabolic enzyme of bacteria, trigger the autolytic enzyme activity of bacteria, make bacteria swell, deform, rupture, dissolve and die. It is an antibacterial spectrum drug, similar in action and application to benzylpenicillin, with the advantage of low serum protein binding and a blood concentration more than twice as high as that of ampicillin.
