Component
Each ml contain:
penicillin G 200,000IU/ml
Dihydrostreptomycin (as sulfate) 250mg/ml
Indications
Arthritis, mastitis and gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract injections caused by penicillin and Dihydrostrepto-mycin sensitive micro-organisms, like Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. coli, Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Listeria, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp in calves, cattle, goats and sheep.
Dosage and administration:
For intramuscular administration:
Cattle: 1ml per 20kg body weight for 3days.
Calves, goats, sheep: 1ml per 10kg body weight for 3days.
Shake well before using and do not administer more than 20ml in cattle, and more than 5ml in calves, sheep and goats per injection site.
Contraindications:
(1) Hypersensitivity to penicillins, Procaine and/or aminoglycosides.
(2) Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal function.
(3) No concurrent administration of teracyclines, macrolides and lincosamides.
Side effects:
(1) Ototoxcity, neurotoxicity or nephrotoxicity.
(2) Hypersensitivity reactions.
Precautions
Animals may develop allergic reaction to penicillin or dihydrostreptomycin. If difficulty in breathing, swelling of the face or extremities, salivation, or general discomfort are noticed, stop use and promptly adminster epinephrine and call veterinarian.
Do not administer animals have impairment of kideney function.
Withdrawal period: Offal and meat: 30 days, Milk: 72 hours
Storage: Store below 20ºC.
Shelf-life: 2 year
